Salvation Theology Part 2

TRANSFORMATION (Metamorphosis – true grace transforms)

2 Corinthians 5:17

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

No matter what, you and I mess up. What is one area of your life that you want God to make new?

REDEMPTION (Exagonidzo)

1 Peter 1:18

“knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers.”

What does the word “redeem” mean? What do you want God to redeem in your life?

ADOPTION

Romans 8:15

“For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, ‘Abba! Father!’”

What is your relationship like with your earthly father? What does your heavenly father promise in your relationship with Him?

GLORIFICATION (1 Corinthians 15)

Philippians 1:6

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

At what point does God give up on you? Why is it that he constantly pursues you to see His good work carried out in your life?
