Psalm 139:7-10

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me.”

If you REALLY believed in God’s sovereignty; if you sincerely trusted in His goodness; if your faith was in complete harmony with His steadfast love for you, what difference would it make in your level of anxiety and your degree of peace?

Romans 8:39 says, “Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.”  When we believe this life doesn’t necessarily get easier, but when life does get hard, we have peace knowing He is with us and has gone before us.  When circumstances don’t dictate who we believe God is, that shows maturity.
