“Famous last words”…history’s most famous last words! Why do you believe Jesus “saved His best for last?”

Like an explanation mark at the end of a sentence to provide an enthusiastic conclusion; what does this verse say to you today? 

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God.”

Francis of Assisi once said, “Wherever you go, preach the gospel, and if necessary, use words.” What is life-on-life discipleship?

2 Timothy 2:2

“The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

What truth is Paul communicating to Timothy in this passage?

2 Timothy 3:15-17

Why is an accurate bible study plan essential in disciple making?

THE VICTOR’S CROWN:

1 Thessalonians 2:14

“For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews.”

Paul describes “The Victor’s Crown” in this passage as the men and women he had let to Christ and disciples standing by his side when he meets Jesus face to face. What does this say to you about your “victor’s crown?”

PRAYER:

2 Timothy 1:3

“I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience the way my forefathers did, as I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day.”

What does this verse say to you about your prayers for your Timothys?
