Welcome Home

Day 1 – DOUBLE AGENT

Read Joshua 2
Take notes about what happens in this passage. Rahab was not an Israelite.
How did she hear about God? Did Rahab believe in God after hearing what He had done?
How did Rahab help the spies? What did God say was a result of her action? James 2:25

Day 2 – BEEN THERE, DONE THAT

Read Joshua 3
All of the people who crossed the Red Sea had grown up and passed on. God was giving the children, who were now adults, the opportunity to experience what their elders had at the Red Sea.
Are you amazed at what God can do?
Who went across the river first?
Is it important to put God first in everything you do? Why or why not?

Day 3 – NEVER FORGET

Read Joshua 4:1-13
What did God ask Israel to do?
God might not ask you to build a stone memorial, but what are some ways you can remember the great things that God has done for you in your life?

Day 4 – THE WALLS CAME TUMBLING DOWN

Read Joshua 6
What did God ask Israel to do?
God asked Israel to walk around the enemy for 7 days without fighting.
Has God ever asked you to do anything that seemed crazy?
Who won the battle against Jericho, God, and Israel?
Who fights your battles?

Day 5 – WHO IS YOUR MASTER?

Read Joshua 24:14-15
Joshua tells the people they cannot serve God and idols. Idols are anything that you worship more than God. Worship is more than singing; it is how you live and how you spend your time.  Spend some time thinking about how you live your life. Are you following Jesus or are you serving an idol?
What could you do to get rid of any distractions keeping you from Jesus?

Give it a try!

Write down something below that God has done in your life. It could be something He has done in your life or the lives of others. Make sure you put a date by what you write. If you do this your entire life, you can look back and be reminded of how great God is!
