The Master’s Class

Day 1 – DON’T BE THE JUDGE

Read Matthew 7:1-12
What does Jesus say about judging others?
Do you judge others? How can you change?
What does Jesus say about how you should treat others?
How can you do this today?

Day 2 – THAT’S NOT A SHEEP!

Read Matthew 7:13-23
Which is bigger, the gate to destruction or the gate that leads to life?
Are you ready to follow Jesus when everyone else around is going in a different gate?
A wolf in sheep’s clothing is something that looks good on the outside but is really destructive when you look on the inside. Can you think of anything in the world today like this? How can you avoid these things?

Day 3 – BUILD IT STRONG

Read Matthew 7:24-29
How are you going to build your house?

DID YOU KNOW?

Christianity is the only “religion” that has been able to be relevant to people of all different cultures in all different generations. No matter how the world changes the truth about God, He will not change and never be outdated. If Jesus wasn’t real, His story would never have kept going for thousands of generations like it has proven to do. God’s followers have grown from a small few into billions of followers throughout history. No other religion can say this.

Day 4 – PLEASE PASS THE MUSTARD

Read Matthew 13:31-32
When Jesus was on earth, there were only a handful of Christians. They were small, like a mustard seed. How has the number of Christians grown thousands of years later?

Give it a try!

Today, you are not going to judge a book by its cover. Take the time today to get to know someone in your school who you don’t know. Hear their story and tell them yours. Getting to know people and caring about who they are will help you be less judgmental.

Day 5 – COME HOME SON

Read Luke 15:8-34
Does God rejoice when a sinner turns to Him?
How did the father welcome the prodigal son when he came home?
How will Jesus do the same for you?
