Day 1 – COULD SOMEONE CALL PEST CONTROL

Read Exodus 8:16-9:35
What are the plagues that God handed Pharaoh and the Egyptians?
Notice Pharaoh only calls for Moses when a plague happens and life is hard.
But when everything is okay, he hardens his heart and won’t listen to God.
Do you only ask God for help when you need Him and ignore Him when everything is okay?

Day 2 – COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TURN ON THE LIGHT?

Read Genesis 39:2
What are the plagues that God handed Pharaoh and the Egyptians?
Did you notice that Pharaoh almost let the Israelites go? What made him change his mind?
Livestock and herds were valued possessions back in Moses’ time. Pharaoh was concerned about earthly things which kept him from doing what God wanted. Have you ever made a decision not to listen to God because of an earthly thing?

Day 3 – LAMB CHOPS ANYONE?

Read Exodus 11:12-30
What did the Israelites have to do to avoid the death of the firstborn son?
Read John 1:29. What is Jesus called in this verse?
What did Jesus do for you on the cross? How is it similar to what happened here?

Day 4 – FORGET THE LAMB CHOPS, I WANT THE TRUE LAMB

Read 1 Peter 2:24
The Passover is an important part of the Old Testament because it was the day that God rescued His people from slavery. God was previewing what Jesus would do. God is still rescuing people from slavery of sin through Jesus.
Think about what Jesus did for you today.

Day 5 – SERVING THE LAMB

Read Hebrews 9:14
What does this verse say about the blood of Jesus?
When you believe in Jesus as your Savior, how should you respond?
