Is The Bible Relavent Today?

Day 1- Read Luke 6:45 and Hebrews 9:27

Are these verses true of mankind in any generation?
Does the Bible give us promises/truth on these subjects?

Day 2- Read Romans Chapter 1

This was written hundreds of years ago. Does man still do these things today?
Read John 3:16 and Romans 6:23. Does man still need a Savior today?

Day 3- Read Psalm 119:89 and 1 Peter 1:25 (#00b193 BKG) (#ffffff Font)

If God never changes, do you believe what the Bible says should change?
Memorize Psalm 119:89.

DIG DEEPER

Read Matthew 5:17-18 and Romans 8:7-13. Do we worship God today in exactly the same way as commanded in the Old Testament? Why or why not? Read Romans 15:4. Do you believe that the Old Testament is still valuable to you? Why?

Spend some time today writing out what you believe and why. Take the time to look up more verses to help you. Write down any questions you still have and take the time to ask someone, whose faith you look up to, for help.

Did you know that Old Testament means “Old Covenant” and New Testament means “New Covenant?” The Old Testament anticipates Christ as God works through His people, Israel. The Old Testament shows how God planned and paved the way for Christ, your Savior.

Day 5- APPLY IT.

Read back through what you learned this week. How do your beliefs change how you view the Bible in today’s culture? What verse stands out to you?
