What happened here?
How many descendants does God promise Abram?

Day 3 – I BELIEVE 

Read Genesis 15:6
How did Abram gain righteousness?
Read 2 Corinthians 5:21
Who gives us the opportunity to gain righteousness?
Do you believe in God like Abram did?

What do you believe?

God gave Abram (Abraham) a promise, and he believed. Abraham believed before the promise came true. Read Hebrews 11. Abraham and many other people of the Bible are listed here. Why? Because they had faith as it says in Hebrews 11:1. Do you have faith in the promises of God? Do you believe that Jesus is your Savior?

Day 4 – EXCUSE ME GOD, I HAVE A BETTER WAY…

Read Genesis 16:1-6
What did God promise Abraham and Sarai?
Did Sarai have faith in God? Why or why not?
Did Abraham listen to Sarai or God? Does Abraham remind you of Adam in Genesis 3?
Did Sarai’s own way work out for her?
What can you learn about choosing your own way over God’s… is it better?

Day 5 – DAD, WHERE ARE WE GOING?

Read Genesis 21:1-6; 22:1-3
Does God make good on His promises? What does God ask Abraham to do?
Do you have that kind of faith? Why or why not?
