Harmony

Mark these Key words: Future, Providing, Sovereign

Psalm 103:19

“The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all.”

Daniel 7:27 (b)

“His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.”

Daniel 4:17

“This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers and the decision is a command of the holy ones, in order that the living may know that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, and bestows it on whom He wishes and sets over it the lowliest of men.”

Daniel 4:35

“All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, but He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth; and no one can ward off His hand or say to Him, ‘What have You done?”

Why is this core characteristic of God monumental in your personal faith experience?

Psalm 145: 18 & 19

“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.”

Jeremiah 29:11

“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and hope.’”

Psalm 91:14-16

“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life I will satisfy him and let him see My salvation.”

If God’s sovereignty is the melody of your life, how do the above scripture truths speak to you about “tuning your mind” to live in perfect harmony with His plan for you?

Psalm 139:7-10

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me.”

If you REALLY believed in God’s sovereignty; if you sincerely trusted in His goodness; if your faith was in complete harmony with His steadfast love for you, what difference would it make in your level of anxiety and your degree of peace?

1 Corinthians 10:13

“No temptation has overtaken you but such is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.”

Proverbs 23:7

“For as he thinks within himself, so he is.”

If indeed God filters the trials that are before you today; if every challenge in your future is “Father filtered,” how do you need to adjust your thinking to live in peace and harmony with God?

What practices and what safe guards do you need to put in place to maintain your desired level of peace and harmony with God?

Matthew 6:33 & 34

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
