James 1:2-4

“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” 

What does a true believer need to do to be able to “consider it all joy” when distressed with various trials?

We gain endurance!  When we see trials as not God punishing, but us being refined, we learn how to fight with the right weapons of faith (Ephesians 6:10-20).
