Day 1 – Read James 1:5
God is wise. There is no one who has more wisdom than God. In fact, the Bible tells us that if you need wisdom, go to God because He is the wisest, and He will give His wisdom to men if they ask.
Day 2 – Read James 1:5
Write it down. Memorize this verse today.
Day 3
Who do you go to for advice? Why?
Do you go to God for wisdom?
How can you get wisdom from God?
The Bible says the wisest human to ever live was a man named Solomon. He was a king over Israel in the Old Testament. Read 1 Kings 3:5-12 and see that Solomon, the wisest man, asked for his wisdom from God.
Day 4
When you need help, you more than likely will go to someone who knows more than you. If you need help at school, you go to your teacher. If you need help with something in you life, you can go to a parent or mentor. Do you realize that your teacher, parent, or mentor goes to someone wiser than them for help? Your teacher has a teacher. Your parents have parents. Your mentor has a mentor. All the wisdom that gets passed down has to come from somewhere. God is true wisdom. Anything wise comes from Him. He is the most wise, and He gives wisdom to anyone who wants it. Everyone can go to God for advise, teaching, and help. He promises us that He will give us His wisdom to help us in any way.
Day 5
Write down some questions you have for God. Give them to someone you look up to like a parent, youth pastor, or Kamp counselor. Have them help you see how God’s Word will answer those questions.
