Does Everyone Sin?

Day 1- Read Romans 5:12 and 5:17-19

What happened here? What do these verses mean to you?

Day 2- Read Romans 3:10 and 3:23

Re-write each verse in your own words.

Day 3- Read Ephesians 2:1-5

How do these verses describe man’s sin?
Who makes us alive?
How does He do it?
Read Ephesians 4:18.
What separates you from God? Why?

I PROMISE YOU…

Read Romans 5:17-19. If you are sad about the nasty sin of humans, this verse is the cure for man’s sin disease.

Day 4- DOES EVERYONE SIN?

Spend some time today writing out what you believe and why. Take the time to look up more verses to help you. Write down any questions you still have and take the time to ask someone, whose faith you look up to, for help.

Your biggest enemy is not Satan… it’s your own self. You keep yourself from following God, and Satan tempts you with thousands of opportunities to help you chose your own way. Look at Adam and Eve. They wanted to be like God in their own way and timing… Satan just gave them the opportunity. Satan is pretty powerful, but he doesn’t have the power of God. He can’t be everywhere at once like God so he doesn’t always directly influence you. Most of the time He sticks to directly influencing things of the world that influence you. You, on the other hand, always directly influence your own self every day of your life. Don’t give yourself too much credit. And don’t give Satan too much credit either. In fact, set yourself up in a way where you can recognize Satan’s influences and shut them out. You need God’s help to do this. His help is also what you need to keep from harming your own self. Are you starting to understand why reading God’s Word is so important?

Day 5- APPLY IT.

Read back through what you wrote about what you believe.
Do you sin? What causes you to sin?
How does what you believe challenge what the world believes?
How does what you believe help you in good days and hard days?
