What does God ask of you here? How can you accurately handle the truth?
What are you currently doing to handle the truth of God?
How can accurately handling the truth prepare you to defend the gospel?

Day 2- GOD’S WORD

Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17
What is God’s Word useful for? How can God’s Word be useful to you in evangelism?
How can God’s Word be useful to you in pre-evangelism (defending the gospel)?
How can God’s Word be useful to you in continual evangelism?
Read Hebrews 4:12
What should be your offensive weapon when you defend or share your faith?
Why is God’s Word more important than your opinions?

Day 3- GOD’S WORD

Read 1 Peter 2:2. Why is God’s Word important to you?
Do you believe you should always be growing in your salvation
Proverbs 4:20-22
Do you have this attitude towards God’s Word? Does God’s Word give you life?
Does your life reflect God’s Word?

 

Day 4- GOD’S WORD

Read Ephesians 6:10-17
List all the ways you should prepare for battle.
This passage only lists one offensive weapon. What should be your offensive weapon?
The armor of a soldier protected him and allowed others to know who he was on the battle field. How does each piece of armor listed protect you?
How does each piece of armor listed define who you are?
How can this armor help you in the defense of the gospel?

Day 5- GOD’S WORD

Read Psalm 119:9-11
Do you think striving to live in freedom from sin is important for you personally?
Do you think striving to live in freedom from sin can impact others? If so, how?
How can keeping from sin help you when you defend or share the gospel?
Read Isaiah 40:8
What lasts forever? How much time do you spend with what lasts forever?
