Day 3- ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

Read Matthew 26:36-56
Jesus was about to be crucified.
How did He prepare for this hard task?
Were His disciples preparing for what was about to happen?
What happened when Jesus was arrested?

How does it make you feel that Jesus willingly suffered death for you?

Read Philippians 4:6-7. This verse might give an explanation of how Jesus prepared to go to the cross. What does this verse say prayer gives you? Have you experienced this?

Day 4- THE ROOSTER CROWS

Read Matthew 26:31-35, 57-75
What did Jesus tell Peter he would do?
What did Peter do?
Have you ever denied Christ or been ashamed to claim Him?

Day 5- THE TRIAL OF JESUS

Read John 18:28 – 19:16
What happens at Jesus’ trial? Did Pilate find anything wrong with Jesus?
Who did the people pick to be crucified?

Peter was pretty devastated that he denied God. Did you know that Peter wasn’t always fearful? Read Acts chapter 4 to see how bold Peter became. He was being bold to the very people who were responsible for crucifying Jesus. That is a serious change of heart.
